I have been working professionally in consumer electronics since 1970, and carried out my formal training at Cambridge College of arts and technology where I obtained my City and Guilds exams. ERM1/2 My final training took place at Granada television .  I then worked for a specialist local company known as Television services of Cambridge TVS.  Where I was mentored by some of the very best engineers in the business. 

I worked there for a number of years until I left to work for Comet Radiovision Services when i helped to open the first branch in this area Cambridge 551. I worked there initially as a field engineer and later as workshop engineer helping train an apprentice and acting as "anchor man" for other field engineeers. During that time I was personally trained by several manufacturers in the repair and diagnostics of televison and other emerging technology.

I later left the company to start my own business. Over the years i have adapted to modern technology and still take a very active interest in current developements in the industry.  I also have a deep understanding of how modern consumer electronics works.  With a special interest in digital signal distribution, both terrestrial and satellite based systems.  I also install both "wired and wireless" Networking in domestic properties.  I am happy to assist in most situations.

I still offer Aerial repair and installation subject to safe access. I can offer set up of skyQ if required. and also freesat on the same basis. all work is fully guaranteeed. 

I also offer a wall mounting service and discrete cable installation on most tv receivers.

Beware of companies offering a no win no fee, or free call out to your home. My competitors have to do the same. I will wager that my prices are the cheapest in this area. I have a standard mark up on my spare parts prices so no one gets ripped off. My labour charges are probably the smallest per hour of any television engineer.
